I have been professionally connected to the world of performance and production since the age of 14. It began as a teenager acting and singing in a youth troupe, continuing through my service in a military band. It was there that I also discovered my passion for the technological side of music, leading me to open my first recording studio in my parents’ home. After my military service, I spent years directing, acting, writing, and recording – with each period drawing me closer to one of these diverse fields.

I always felt a deep love for everything I did, finding it difficult to commit to just one “calling.” I invested countless hours of thought, study, and professional refinement into each area, yet for a long time, I felt the need to downplay this versatility, fearing I’d be labeled a “Jack of all trades.”

At a certain point, I found myself drawn to the world of video, which miraculously wove together all my passions: drama, writing, directing, and music. I began to immerse myself in it, even as I scaled back my other pursuits. Yet, the attraction to those roots never vanished. Even today, I am occasionally seized by the desire to act, to sing, to write a new play, to engineer an intriguing EP, or to dive into the development and entrepreneurship of new ideas.

Now, at this stage of my life, I finally allow myself to say: “It is okay to do many things – and to do them well.”

To me, theater is more than just a skill or an artistic pursuit. It is a tool for processing personal, group, and community experiences. Theater meets a person at their lowest and highest points. It reflects reality while simultaneously acting as a catalyst for change. It resonates within the environment it inhabits, bringing together people from different backgrounds and diverse value systems.

The art of theater is deeply intertwined with our lives. Dramatic play is natural; it is an inherent part of human growth and development in our early years and, in one way or another, throughout our lives. We portray ourselves in the play of life, improvising every single moment according to our circumstances.

Creating safe spaces for children post-war

As part of a unique national initiative led by the Shitufim organization in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, we at Pausa Production House are honored to take part in a vital mission: the planning, design, and establishment of approximately 40 “Resilience spaces” in elementary schools along Israel’s northern border, following the events of the “octobet 7th” war.

“A project of profound national significance, its mission is to create a safe, supportive space for children—a place to find calm and rebuild the foundations of their personal and social security.”

What is a “Resilience space”?

A Resilience space is a dedicated space that provides children, teachers, and the community with emotional, educational, and social tools to cope with stress and uncertainty. These spaces integrate:

• Sensory Design: Environments crafted to soothe and regulate.

• Interactive Technology: Engaging tools for emotional expression.

• Gentle Physical Activity: Areas designed for movement and release.

• Calming Aesthetic Elements: Creating a sanctuary within the school.

The result is a holistic environment that allows children to find a place of peace and safety within the school grounds, helping them build personal resilience that will serve them long into the future.

Our Partners 

Shitufim Organization

Shitufim is the lead organization driving this initiative. The organization specializes in creating cross-sector collaborations in Israel—bridging government, local authorities, civil society, and the business sector to promote large-scale national goals.

In the Resilience spaces project, Shitufim acts as the central coordinator, ensuring seamless cooperation between all parties while tailoring the project to the specific needs of local communities.

The Ministry of Education

The Ministry of Education is the primary government partner for this project. The Ministry provides the educational framework, pedagogical requirements, and ongoing support for school principals and teaching staff.

The Ministry views this project as a key component of a broader vision: creating an adaptable education system that addresses not only academic learning but also the social and emotional well-being  of its students.

At Pausa production house, we are responsible for the comprehensive design, planning, and on-site establishment of the Resilience spaces. Leveraging our extensive experience in creating visitor centers and interactive experiential spaces, we provide each space with a unique character that integrates:

• Full On-Site Implementation: Utilizing high-quality materials, customized furniture, and therapeutic lighting.

Some projects ignite the imagination and spark the creativity of the entire team — and this was one of them. Our mission was to retell the story of “The Rabbis’ Journey to the Settlements” from the early 20th century, a pivotal tale in the history of the land and the bridge built between pioneers and the religious establishment.

The Story Behind the Exhibit:
The journey aimed to bridge the gap between the farmers and pioneers of the northern settlements and Rabbi Kook alongside the leadership of the Old Yishuv, a move that laid the foundations for the emergence of Religious Zionism. A defining moment was the arrival of Rabbi Levin, Rabbi Kook’s emissary, in Kfar Tavor, where he chose to settle for the remainder of his life.

The Creative Solution:
Rather than presenting the content in a traditional manner, we designed a dynamic and immersive experience. A permanent wall illustration in the museum reflects the key elements of the story. Above this illustration, video mapping brings the wall to life, allowing visitors to explore the story step by step.

The video mapping technique creates a spectacular visual connection between past and present and offers a multi-sensory experience, where visitors see the characters, stations, and events of the rabbis’ journey come alive right before their eyes.

The Result:
The outcome is an emotional, captivating, and visually stunning exhibit that connects visitors to history and heritage in a unique and engaging way.

The brigade’s new memorial center, located near the famous monument, features an interactive memorial station that allows visitors to access the story of each fallen soldier throughout the brigade’s history.

The station offers a simple, easy-to-use search system and detailed content that presents each soldier’s personal story, alongside information about their role in the IDF and the brigade and the circumstances of their passing. It serves as a respectful space to honor the fallen, providing families, friends, and comrades with a personal way to remember and reflect.

The production process for the memorial station includes:

• Development of a dedicated search application for the fallen soldiers.

• Creation of a personal page for each soldier, including their photo, personal details, and life story.

• Synchronization of content with the Ministry of Defense’s “Yizkor” system.

• Touchscreen interface for intuitive operation.

• Design of all application screens to ensure a cohesive and engaging user experience.

The lights and colors move in perfect synchronization with the music, reviving stories in ways that could not have been imagined. The powerful sound floods the space, immersing viewers in a world of experiences, emotions, and memories.

Before and after the presentation, the courtyard area comes to life with intriguing strolling corners. These areas reflect life at the site, showcasing the routines and ideals of the figures who left their mark. Visitors are invited to walk among the trees, take in the various corners, and discover new details about the pioneers’ lifestyle.

The presentation not only enriches historical knowledge but also connects visitors to the emotions and experiences of previous generations. It is an experiential journey that reminds us of our roots and the values that drove those who established Kinneret Courtyard. This experience, which combines technology with a human story, creates a deep and unforgettable connection between past and present.

In the physical space at Pisgat, educational teams undergo a process in small groups, moving through experiential and interactive stations, followed by an in-depth workshop-style discussion in a plenary session. The activities and stations in the space are all based on the use of experiential and interactive elements that call on participants to take an active part in decoding and understanding the subject – pointing the lens toward the participants themselves.

The Menifa Space promotes critical discourse regarding relevant issues by focusing on equality and fairness, with a specific emphasis on gender equality. This is based on the understanding that this subject affects our entire existence, constitutes a central principle in the organization of the social order, and allows for significant change.

The Ben-Gurion Heritage Institute and the Prime Minister’s Office immediately recognized the potential and vision behind this move, seeing it as a direct continuation of Ben-Gurion’s legacy—as a leader who always looked ahead and championed bold ideas. With their full support and green light, the project was launched, aiming to allow anyone, anywhere in the world, to take part in the historical and educational experience of ‘The People’s Verdict’.

The digital exhibit offers two primary features, available in multiple languages:

A. Global Cinematic Engagement: The exhibit can be screened on any stage worldwide, turning the audience into an active jury. Participants use their own mobile devices as interactive voting terminals, seamlessly bridging the gap between the screen and the spectator.

B. Synchronized Virtual Experience: A fully remote, collective journey. Whether on a laptop at home or a tablet on the go, every participant joins a synchronized real-time screening. The entire group experiences the drama together, making their voices heard through a unified digital voting platform.

“The People’s Verdict” plunges the audience into the pivotal dilemmas of Israel’s founding era—issues that continue to ripple through our lives today. Within this cinematic courtroom setting, a special tribunal convenes to deliberate on these foundational questions. Revital’s Sukkah is more than a memorial site – it is a place to experience, play, listen, and learn. Visitors are invited to spend time in the complex and feel part of the surroundings, just as Revital was an inseparable part of the community where she grew up.

What awaits you at the Sukkah?

• Breathtaking Views: The Sukkah is situated at a spectacular vantage point overlooking the blue waters of the Sea of Galilee and Kinneret community – the place where Revital took her first steps. The landscape provides a magnificent natural backdrop to the visit.

• Children’s Play Area: An experiential space specifically designed to engage younger visitors while connecting them to the history and heritage of the site.

• Interactive Content Stations: Unique stations that allow visitors to dive into Revital’s world. These stations feature stories she wrote during her school years, accompanied by moving narrations by her former classmates.

The stations are designed and positioned throughout the Sukkah and are accessible to visitors via QR code scanning, directly to their mobile devices on-site.

Stories Brought to Life

The personal stories written by Revital gain new life at the listening stations. Each story is integrated with an artistic soundtrack, adding a special emotional dimension to every scene and illuminating Revital’s imagination in a new light. In addition, original archival photographs are projected, illustrating the character of the community in those days. These images document the paths she walked, the valley landscapes, and the simple yet special everyday moments that accompanied her life.

Connecting Past, Present, and Memory

Revital’s Sukkah is not merely a commemoration, but a place of inspiration and dialogue with the community and visitors. It is an invitation to get to know Revital’s story through a personal and moving lens and to feel her presence among the local landscapes.

Between the children’s games and the pastoral views, between the sounds and the stories, a complete experience is woven – one that succeeds in connecting the past to the present, offering visitors moments of reflection, meaning, and memory.

The work on the presentation and the complex included:

The project involved mobilizing hundreds of Israeli participants for recording sessions across the country within a tight timeframe, alongside recruiting field teams deployed throughout Israel. The planning phase also included intensive training for the recruited staff on a dedicated application, custom-designed for the project by the American company NUANCE.

Upon the project’s launch, we activated a comprehensive operation: widespread public outreach, nationwide recording sessions, and real-time data collection from the field. The new visitor center in Elon Moreh invites visitors on a fascinating journey to the dawn of the Jewish people and their deep connection to the Land of Israel. Overlooking Mount Kabir, Mount Ebal, and Mount Gerizim, the center tells the story of the place where the Jewish people took their first steps in the Land, allowing visitors to understand the roots of our existence here.

Elon Moreh is considered a pioneering community and serves as a symbol of Jewish settlement in Samaria. The story of the community is interwoven with the history of the Jewish people, given the immense historical, geographical, and security significance of the region. The site itself is a meeting point between past and future, between Biblical narratives and modern Israeli reality.

The center offers a significant educational and historical experience that provokes thought and connects the Biblical past to the Zionist future.

The visitor center is divided into two main spaces:

• The First Space (Under Construction) | The Story of the Past:                                                                                                                                         Visitors encounter the Biblical historical events that took place in the region: Abraham’s entry into the Land of Israel, Jacob’s journey, the story of Joseph and his brothers, and the ceremony of the blessing and the curse at Mount Gerizim and Mount Ebal. This space evokes the sensations associated with the formation of the Jewish people and their initial bond with the Land.

• The Second Space | Connecting to Modern History:                                                                                                                                                                      Visitors are exposed to the story of the Sebastia settlers and the establishment of Elon Moreh as a symbol of the Jewish people’s revival in Samaria. This space explores the influence of these pioneers on Jewish settlement today and tells their story as part of the historical process of the Jewish people returning to their homeland.

The creation of the Elon Moreh visitor center brings together multiple layers of design, planning, and execution:

• Design and Construction of the Biblical Presentation Hall: Meticulous planning of the central exhibition space, which illustrates the Biblical stories that occurred in the area and provides visitors with a tangible connection to ancient Jewish history.

• Production of a Unique Animation Film: The production of an animated film based on an original song written and composed specifically for the presentation.

• A Unique Viewing Experience on Vertical and Horizontal Screens: The presentation features dynamic projection on screens in various configurations. This innovative viewing experience combines image movement across vertical and horizontal planes, making the visitor feel surrounded by the historical narrative.

• Comprehensive Center Design: Meticulous architectural design that adapts to the local landscape, blending tradition with modernity. The design supports the visitor experience and the flow between the different spaces in the center.

• Cinematography and Production of Diverse Video Content: Dynamic and original visual content created specifically for the presentation, including historical and Biblical content presented in a vivid and accessible manner, alongside interactive activities that allow visitors to be actively involved.

• Planning and Execution of Multimedia Systems: Implementation of advanced projection, audio, and interactive technologies, harmoniously integrated with the center’s spaces to provide a seamless, media-rich experience for visitors.

The combination of all these elements creates a unique and innovative visitor center that connects visitors to history and the present in an unforgettable way.

The chosen theme was then given a “face” in the form of an environmental sculpture built at the center of the community and intended for playing, sitting or just for the viewer’s enjoyment.

It was given a “soul” through a special story we wrote based on the theme of the community.

Each story was recorded by actors (professionals and locals),  And it received a “voice” thanks to the audio system installed inside the sculpture, which plays the story.

This project is the result of a collaboration between 3 bodies. ‘Masbiran Koli’, which initiated the project, local sculptor Roee Shinar who created the visual art and us (Pausa Production
House), who produce the artistic content, which included casting, recording and editing the soundtrack.

The project has already been implemented in several locations across Israel, including Golan Regional Council, which ordered the project for 15 localities in the Golan as part of its 50th
anniversary.

This project allows you to plan a trip in the Golan based on the audio stories scattered around the region, which tell the locality story in a dramatic, humorous or moving manner and even enjoy the environmental sculpture that allows you to climb on top of it, slide off it or just admire its beauty.

The work process also involves the community in the stage of planning, writing and acting on the recorded scenes.
